Description on Bank Transaction

Bank Transaction Description


Hi

In the jpeg the field (on a Bank Payment Input Screen)called Description has the word Gas in it. 

Which Report is this field shown on

Can I add it as a optional  field in a  Financial Report

Why does it not show on a Activity Report.

    Welcome to the Reckon Community Allister.

    The Description field does not get posted to any Reckon One report.  You can display transactions in the Reports Centre > financial > Account Enquiry by the accounts they are assigned to.

    Thanks John for your helpful answe?r. However why is there a description field on each input row of the payment analysis if the data goes no where.

    Hello Allister,

    Most things in Reckon One have an eye on the future.  As Reckon One develops it will cater for more complex and detailed transactions and the Reports functionality will expand with it.  

    We do have an Ideas section which our developers monitor and shapes future releases.  Please add this requirement in the Ideas portal to bring it to our developers attention - in your book click the ? icon and then the link: Submit a product suggestion

    For the time being its through the Account the transactions is assigned to that is the basis for reporting.
