If you are referring to the tax file number code - your payee is under 18 and earns less than $350 per week, $700 per fortnight or $1,517 per month – use 333 333 333 Source https://www.ato.gov.au/Forms/PAYG-payment-summary---individual-non-business/?page=3

Not necessarily.  If his earnings are still below the monthly threshold ($ 1,517) then he is exempt from quoting a TFN.
If not, he will need to apply for one but that info gives you all the TFN Codes applicable for all scenarios along with explanations, including for employees who have applied for a TFN.

Hi Shaz,  Shall I enter the junior as NoTFNr?  It is still calculating Tax, so do I override this if under the monthly threshold?  Carolyn

No, you still use the standard TFT tax code. The employee will be taxed only if/when their earnings reach the threshold.

As they do not need a tax file number enter them as TFT (tax free threshold).
