What to do if you receive an error containing:
The element 'AddressDetailsPostal' in namespace 'http://www.sbr.gov.au/ato/payevnt' has invalid child element 'CountryC' in namespace 'http://www.sbr.gov.au/ato/payevnt'. List of possible elements expected: 'Line1T' in namespace 'http://www.sbr.gov.au/ato/payevnt'. Hint: while processing parent element [AddressDetailsPostal] child mandatory element [Line1T] was expected but not found
Check that your address information is correct in the Reckon Portal. I couldn't update the address in the GovConnect area of the portal. Go back to the portal log-in and update profile on the top RHS of the screen. It did take a while but eventually the address appeared in the GovConnect area.
Don't try to replace the previous file with error message. Upload a new file.
I hope this helps.

Hi Wendy
I had this same issue today, sometime after 3pm. But only on one stp file, the next one lodged perfectly, same employer, same employees, just minutes apart. ATO could not help me, my assumption is that it was some issue/bug at the time it was lodged. Perhaps try to relodge maybe try an update event, otherwise, hopefully next week will correct it. For me the next pay simply corrected the first one, because I was lodging consecutive progressive files.
Sorry I can't really help, but I found absolutely nothing wrong with my setup which could have been the course.
Kind Regards

Thank you so much for this, I found the issue (hopefully) in the set up of address and company name in the Reckon Portal...
Will relodge and see what happens

Could somebody let me know if a resolution to the error message "The element 'AddressDetailsPostal' in namespace 'http://www.sbr.gov.au/ato/payevnt' has invalid child element 'CountryC' in namespace 'http://www.sbr.gov.au/ato/payevnt'. List of possible elements expected: 'Line1T' in namespace 'http://www.sbr.gov.au/ato/payevnt'. Thanks in anticipation
