in reckon accounts premium 2019 I made a new sub account in the chart of accounts but reckon does no
I set up the chart of accounts including sub-accounts. But in making a General Journal when I click a sub-account I get a message that the sub-account is not on the list. Any ideas?

Hi David
Can you see this subaccount in your Chart of Accounts (CoA) screen? It’s possible you may started creating it but not actually “saved” it.
Also, check that it’s not been made inactive in error.
To check this, in your CoA, tick the “Include inactive” checkbox right at the bottom – Any inactive accounts will show with an “X” to the left of the name. To re-activate, just click on the “X” & confirm at the prompt.

Yes, I checked this already. The account is included in the Chart of Accounts and it not marked Inactive.

They'll be a reason it's not coming up - Would need to see it to determine what's happened so happy for you to contact me direct if you'd like me to take a look 😊

I know it’s basic but check date of transaction and date of report, even if inactive it would appear on a P& L if there were figures in it (I believe)
