Pasting From PDF

I am unable to copy text from a PDF and paste into into Reckon, when I attempt to do this in place of the letters strange symbols appear. Is there a way to get around this ?

    If it's mucking up because you're using the mouse copy then paste function then I've found using CTRL C and then CTRL V sometimes works
