Using payroll in Reckon Hosted.
New employee has both a HELP & a SSL debt.
How do you set up for deduction/payments for a student start up loan.  There are boxes in the to tick for HELP Debt SFSS & CDEP adjustment but no SSL

Hi Shelley and thanks for your question. In 2019-20 all SFSS, HELP, SSL and TSL repayments will use the new tax table STSL. And thank you for making me look that up. I knew it had changed I wasn't too sure what it included. As you may be aware, the loan comes from Center Link and you can apply for it through the mygov account. The employee will then pay back the loan through the income tax system once they reach the threshhold. If you are using the correct version of Reckon the STSL table will be included.

Hi Shelley. Looks like I lied to you sorry. Im looking at the new Enterprise 2020 version and I cannot see the STSL tables. It only has SFSS and HELP. SSL and TLS are not there either. I spoke tech support who didn't know about it. It's a bit frustrating. Im going to follow this up for you if you don't mind.

Hi Shelley, I spoke to Reckon about this and I was told you will use the HELP table. If you check that box on the Employee tax set up, you should be good to go. Unfortunately the first consultant to whom I spoke may have misled me.
