change of employee name - impact of STP

Hi
Does anybody have any experience with changing an employee's name in the new STP environment?

Is it as simple as changing the name of the employee or are there some traps for (not so) young players?

One thing which immediately springs to mind, is when the ATO reconciles the final STP file for the year with the employee's MyGov record does it rely solely on the TFN or is there something more complex? 

Any guidance/past experiences would be appreciated

It's my understanding that the employee should also change their name with the ATO: https://www.ato.gov.au/Individuals/Tax-file-number/Update-your-details/Update-your-name/
