STP Finalisation for employee who finished some months ago

In order to finalise this employee's 19/20 year, shall I just open the last payrun and tick the boxes to revise the submission? Thanks in advance.

    No
    You need to run:
    - your last pay run for the year as per normal, then
    - when you've done all your year end reconciliations, lodge a new STP file but in Reckon select "finalise year" (near top middle of the screen).   You will also need to select final/update in GovConnect.

    By way of background:
    - a "normal STP " lodgement only includes details of the people paid in the specfic pay run concerned
    - the finalise year lodgement includes details of every employee who has been paid at any time during the financial year

    Thank you Bruce.  A second client uses Reckon Accounts Plus 2019. Will this have the option to 'Finalise Year' for all staff?

    Sorry Carolyn but I don't have any experience with Accounts Plus.
