Jobkeeper 2 transition

Hi Community
Has there been any further information on how the transition from jobkeeper 1 to jobkeeper 2 will work.  I know the amounts decrease. Our pay cycle finishes on 22nd September.  Will the fortnights continue on and if our pay cycle isn't exactly the same as the jobkeeper fortnights will this matter.  We are wondering if we need to do a separate payrun for 23rd september 27th september inclusive to put it inline with the start of jobkeeper 2.  Any extra advice appreciated.

Leanne.  Based on information so far released, JobKeeper 2.0 will start from 28/9/2020, which is the day after which JobKeeper Fortnight 13 concludes.  My belief is that most organisations did not have a pay run which aligned perfectly with the ATO's fortnight periods, hence there should not be any reason why you would want to change your pay cycle to specifically fall in line with the ATO fortnight periods.
