Hi

I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask, but does anyone know if under the Job Keeper extension, whether annual leave accrual return to per hour work or is it still per pay period?

thanks

    Hi Larisa

It was never changed - For permanent employees, leave was required to continue accruing (if stood down on JK) as per their normal hours eg for a full time employee, that might be 38 hrs p/wk, for part-timers, it would have been based on their usual hours.  If the employee is working less than their usual hours, their leave accruals cannot reduce but must continue as if they were working as normal.  Therefore, as employees start returning from stand-down, leave must continue to accrue the same.

I have always set Leave to accrue per hour - that way it will calculate correctly, regardless of hour variations.  (During JK where applicable, I just entered the usual hours at $ 0.00 rate to generate the leave accruals component)
