Upgrading Quicken Home 2010 to Quicken 2011
Apologies if I'm not in the correct category. My Quicken Home 2010 Licence Key has expired & I've been advised to upgrade (free) to Quicken 2011 and have been sent an email download link with IKC. When downloading Quicken 2011 I get an error message that reads 'This app has been blocked for your protection. an administrator has blocked you from running this app. For more information contact the Administrator'. I would appreciate any advice here please since calling Reckon on their 1300 number has given me no help at all, they have directed me here.

I have had this message when opening an older program that Reckon are no longer supporting. Try changing the date on your computer to say 2 years ago, then try downloading again. Once complete fix the date

Hi @physio1
That message is a Windows OS message rather than something coming from Reckon software.
Check out the info in this help guide -
Alternatively, there is more info on this message in a general sense (external to Reckon) on the web such as this blog -
