P & L Descriptions

We still use Reckon Accounts 2016 which for a basic program has suited us OK. However I have set up a second company and when I run a P&L of any sort I only get Account No's and Amounts but no Descriptions. Based on some of the answers I see I wonder whether that is as good as it gets? If that is the case it is no good. Is that all I can expect?

    @794193 Check your Company File Preferences (under the Edit dropdown menu > Preferences): 

    I'm not sure the image upload above has worked ?  If not, in the Preferences window, click on Reports & Graphs in the LHS list then click on the Company Preferences tab.  In the upper right, you'll see a "Reports - Show Accounts by:"  It sounds like yours currently has Description only selected.  Change it to Name only or Name and Description

    NB: Don't forget to click on the OK button to save your changes!
