Scheduled Bills & Deposits - Edit All Future Transactions.


When I undertake an edit in Scheduled Bills & Deposits, once I complete the edit an click OK I receive the error message as below, and it logs off the software and it then has to be reopened. Upon reopening the edits have been accepted. This problem has been ongoing for some time and I have referred the report to Reckon on numerous occasions. I have just renewed my annual subscription and uploaded the new Reckon Accounts Personal Plus 2021 software, however the problem still exists. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Does the same behaviour occur in the Sample File?
Have you validated/super validated your file as yet? If not, I'd recommend you try that out. Info linked below -
Following that, I'd also recommend that you ensure you file name is less than 8 characters in length if its not already.

The file name is less than 8 characters. The error does not appear in the sample file. I have validated and super validated the file and the error still persists.

How can I get Technical Support at Reckon to investigate and solve this problem?

The above is still happening when I downloaded the 2022 software. Can anyone provide me with any assistance to resolve the issue

I'd suggest having a look at the information in the guide linked below -
Hopefully it can help however you've previously mentioned that the issue does not appear in the Sample File so it could potentially be a corruption isolated in your main file itself.
