Accounts Hosted vs Reckon one

Hi there,

Just trying to work out whether Accounts Hosted or Reckon One would best suit our small businesses.

We have 5 entities:

Company 1: Trading business that requires the basics no inventory just need purchase orders, invoicing, expenses, job tracking, bank feeds, pay subbies and 2 employees, single touch payroll. This will always be a trading company which may scale up or down depending on the building industry. Currently using excel.

Companies 2-5: Non-trading just need the basics and banks feeds. One of these companies may need to invoice at some point however the rest are just to capture ins & outs and BAS reporting. No payroll, no inventory. Currently using excel to captures these.

If I go Reckon One I have to set up for each company that is, one company will go premium with project tracking and the rest would be basic for now. It all adds up $50 + $8 + $8 + $8 + $8 = $82 p/mth

If I go Reckon Hosted then I can set up multiple companies and get the full function I assume at $67 p/mth as there will only be one user.

I have gone through a few videos and the community forum but interested to get the communities feedback for those who run more than one small business/companies or have clients in a similar sitiuation.

Thanks,

Mary Z

    Yep, absolutely!

Hands down RAH is far superior in EVERY way - interface/usability AND features! RAH has all the bells & whistles included already which you can enable/disable as you like in each Company File’s Preferences. As your entities grow/develop, there’s less likelihood of them “outgrowing” RAH than there is with a basic cloud option (eg R1 etc)

I would always recommend RAH over R1 anyway but if it’s actually going to cost you LESS, you’d be mad not to do it in my opinion! ☺️

The other big advantage with RAH is that - unlike R1 - you don't have to learn a new software as RAH looks exactly the same as the desktop version! 😊
