EOFY Declaration

Hi Rav,

I am unable to submit my EOFY Report for 2020/21, the blue submit button is covered by the keyboard where I have entered my name and ticked the declaration box.

There is a message at the bottom of the employees report which says "Set all values to $0.00"

I am uncertain as to whether I select this option as I don't want to zero the 2020/21 figures. Is this what is stopping me from submitting my declaration as I have not selected it?

I have successfully migrated from the STP app to the new Payroll App.

Hi Margaret

I've made a quick screen recording below which might help in showing you how to progress on. You'll see that my keyboard also covers the fields. See below.

Note: The 'Set all values to $0.00' option is only when you want to essentially 'wipe out' all the balances that have previously been sent for an employee(s). Its not be used for any other purpose so if that's NOT what you want or need to do then make sure its unticked.

Thank you for this, however this is exactly what I am doing but the keyboard does not "disappear" once I have entered my name and ticked the declaration, it is still covering the Submit to ATO button.

You need to tap on the ✔️ or Done button on your keyboard as I did in the video for the keyboard to disappear. It depends on which phone and keyboard app you're using eg. I'm using the Google Gboard keyboard app on my phone.

I am using Iphone 11 and I do not have a tick symbol on my keyboard in either alphabetical or the numerical options.

As soon as I touch the declaration area it automatically puts a blue tick in the box.

Hi Rav,

I have somehow managed to swipe away the keyboard, then allowing me to hit the submit button.

Thanks for your prompt help, it has been a frustrating exercise.

I've asked a colleague who uses an iPhone to send me a screenshot and its the same principle as the process from my video, just a different key on your keyboard. On iPhone you press the 'Return' key to make the keyboard 'disappear' instead of the ✔️ button that comes up on my Android phone.
