EOFY

I am not able to migrate to new free payroll as I had migrated previously.

How do I do my EOFY on the new app. Do I have to manually input all the figures? I am having a problem that my total and the tax office totals are different.

    Hi @ckinspire

    If you've already migrated data at some stage in the past and unable to do so now then I'm assuming you only have partial data in the Payroll App currently, correct?

    If you've completed your regular 2020/21 submissions in the STP app and are ready to complete your EOFY finalisation then you can still do so in the STP app. You can then start fresh from the now current 2021/22 financial year in the Payroll App moving forward.

    I am having a problem that my total and the tax office totals are different.

    In regard to the above, are you viewing this in the STP app OR the Payroll App?

    Hi, yes I have only he partial data. My end of year adds up to the same amount I paid employee, but figure from tax office is coming up different. I have been through figures and cannot find why the figure would be different. Is this a problem that is happening?

    @ckinspire

    To clarify, when you view the balances in the 2020/21 EOFY report in the app, are the balances that are shown in there correct?

    If so, you're ready to send through the EOFY finalisation. The reason I say that is, once the EOFY is sent and processed it will OVERWRITE any and all previous balances that the ATO previously have to that point.
