Superannuation

We set an employee up and ticked the $450.00 super threshold. The employee has earned more than this for the month but no super has been calculated. Do I need to unlock the pays and recalculate to get the super correct? Then I assume I need to re-run the STP reporting? Thanks!

You can adjust the super. You don't need to resubmit the STP. It will get fixed with the next pay run.

Hi Zappy - thanks but how do I adjust it?

Certainly Vicki you can put through a separate pay run just for the super. You can knock out the salary and simply add the super adjustment. Do you know what the difference is? You should be able to calculate it manually. Let me know if you get stuck 0407744914

Thanks Zappy - I'll give it a go over the weekend and see how I get on. Your help is much appreciated :)

Vicki Hi. Remember to record it in the current period. You can alter the payroll dates as appropriate but the paid date will be in the present. You can even make the pay period the entire quarter. Let me know if you get stuck.
