RA2022 Scheduled backup not working STILL

I have downloaded and installed RA2022. All OK except STILL same issue with scheduled backup

Here is the workaround that worked for me :

Environment : Windows 11 Professional, MS Office 2021 Professional, RA Premier 2022

As per the topic referred above, with these changes IN BOLD :

The scheduling function will be restored with this tweak:

  • Open RA2022 - Run as Administrator. This is the only time need to run as administrator. Normal use of RA2022 does not require "run as administrator". If you do not do this as administrator, the scheduled task is created but does not work correctly
  • Log in to RA2022 as Admin
  • Set up the Automatic Backup within every Accounts Business company file that will utilize scheduled backup. Close out of RA2022
  • Go to C:\ProgramData\Intuit\
  • Create a new sub-folder - C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks 2022
  • (NB spelling and the space is important)
  • Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Reckon Accounts 2022 and copy qbbackup.sys to the folder you just created
  • Some environments might require this. Open Windows Task Scheduler. Find and open the scheduled backup task. Tick the box "Run with highest privileges" and click "OK" to save changes
  • Can now use RA2022 in normal mode. In my environment (see above), "Run as administrator" not required.
  • Scheduled backup works correctly.
  • Note : RA needs to be closed at the scheduled backup time. If RA is open, scheduled backup fails.
