How to use 2 statement templates for 2 brands under one company.
Hello, I am trying to setup one company in Reckon with 2 branches. each branch trades under a different Brand and logo and address. but the parent company and Tax/bank details are the same.
I am using Classes for splitting invoices, Bills, and expenses already.
While I have created 2 different invoice templates and this will work well. However after creating 2 different statements to show the different branch identities. how do I use them??
How do I use them without manually having to do 2 statement runs and unselect the clients using the wrong template which would slow down the statement process considerably?
Is there a way to link a customer with a branch identity or statement template automatically?
When it comes to sending out statements how can I tell Reckon to use statement template 1 for branch 1 and statement template 2 for branch 2 without doing it manually? or 2 statement runs and having to unselect the statements I don't want in each batch run.
I am guessing I have to use the "Customers of Type" option on the statement screen and make sure each branch is linked to each customer? is this the only way?

You cant. And thanks for your question.

It is possible to create two different statements. However I am not aware of how to "pin" a particular statement template to a particular class.
However something which might make things easier is to create sub accounts in Accounts Payable one for each class. Then when you run statements you can run then in batches by selecting the specified statement and matching A/P sub class - see highlights on the attached.
Hope this helps - good luck.
