UNLOCKING PASSWORD IN 2009/10 QUICKBOOKS FILE
Does anyone how to to unlock a password for an old unsupported file? its an Accountant Edition.
I do have a 2019 Reckon Accounts Premier Accountant Edition I can open it in, I just need to know how to unlock the password that has been forgotten.
Reckon have advised unless it is 2021 or 2022 file, they cannot support it but to ask in the Community discussion group to get the answer....

No option other than sending it to Data Recovery at Reckon.

Not sure why they suggested that as there's no magic fix/workaround 🙄 Unfortunately, that's something only Reckon can retrieve via their paid recovery service 😔

As Shaz & Gerry have mentioned, removing a password will require it to go through the data recovery service. I'll add a couple of links below with some more detail and how to request the service if you'd like to go down that route -
