Install App from overseas

Hi,

I'm trying to download the app and install it on my phone from overseas and I'm getting a message saying is not available on my country. I also tried to use a VPN on my phone. Is there any way I can install the app?

@fpolguti If you already have an account for Payroll app and are temporarily intending to use it from overseas, then an option might be to use the web version on a PC browser. This might involve paying for a monthly subscription to upgrade to the Premium version. The free app will only give viewing rights on web version. You can revert back to free app on your return.

The only challenge might be getting Multi-factor authorisation for login if you don't have the Australian mobile number available overseas on roaming. Perhaps someone on this blog might have an answer.

Hi,

No I don't have an account and the plan is to be some time overseas. I have my Australian number with roaming so that shouldn't be an issue, is just the app... but if it can't be , it can't be and I'll have to look for another one.

Hi Frank,

Our mobile apps including the Payroll App are only available on the Australian Google Play and Apple App Stores. I'm guessing your app store country is set to the overseas country you're currently in which is why its unavailable to download unfortunately.

So the only option for me at the moment if I want to use Reckon is the paid desktop version (Initially I wanted to check the reporting of Wages to ATO via app and later use other functionalities).
