Hi,

I would like to run a gross margin report by customer job. I would like to compare these figures month on month. How can I do this within Reckon Hosted.

Thanks

    Hi Tracy

Unfortunately, the "Gross Margin" options are only available on Inventory-based reports because they're Item-specific. If you run a Sales by Item Summary report, you can Modify this accordingly to display per Customer:Job but this display is columns only so I would run it independently for each month, modifying it to display Non-zero amounts only:

Thanks very much. I have been running a P&L by Customer Job for each month and cutting and pasting it together with previous months in excel and adding a formula to calc gross margin. The clients often change month to month so the clients don't line up and it is very time consuming to fix it up. Do you know if there is anyway to do this in Reckon Enterprise. I have had a look at the Financial Statement Designer but could not find a way there either.

    Thanks for your help

Hi Tracy, i've been using the Job Profitability Summary to work out GP for each customer.

However, the % calculated is not the GP so, i've usually worked this out in excel.

    Hi Tracy & Chet

Did you know you can select those same options in the P&L that Chet is referring to in the Job Profitability Summary ? :
