Reckon Accounts Plus 2017 missing jobs

Hi! Going through the year's invoices, several jobs are missing from different clients.
On top of this, invoices are missing from existing jobs as well.
I've attempted to recover them from the backup files but they seem to have been wiped from there as well!
Is there any way to recover these invoices and jobs? I've called technical support but was told it was outside of their scope. If there's no way to recover the files, is there a way to prevent this from happening in the future?

Never heard of this issue before check to make use you invoiced the client or the job, do you have paper copies of the invoices?
If you have ever restored any backups it could be where your problem arose.

Yes, we have local and hard copies of the invoices that were generated in Reckon.
