Set up a new payroll item - Leave without pay LWOP

Could someone advise how to set up a new payroll item for Leave without pay (LWOP) correctly for Reckon Hosted.

    The system doesn't allow a $ 0.00 Paycheque to be created - It will allow a Paycheque that NETS to $ 0.00 (eg 100% Salary Sacrifice) but not a $ 0.00 earnings base)

    I'd recommend just recording the detail in the employee's Notes
