Hi Rav, we have tried these fixes, and the same error -30 comes up still. Are there any further fixes?
we are running Reckon Accounts Premier Edition 2024
Hi @Murray_Earl ,
Welcome to Reckon community!!
Thank you for confirming that you've already tried the suggested fixes. Since you're still encountering error -30 in Reckon Accounts Premier Edition 2024, I'd like to gather a bit more information to assist further.
Once I have this information, I can provide more troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue.
Regards,
Reeta
Hi Reeta,
Yes, we are running Reckon as a multi-user. However, we have also tried running it as a single user, but this doesn't fix the issue.
The error comes up when trying to email out statements; they print no problem but it seems to be when emailing out.
We have tried running as admin, and yes, all permissions are correct. The easiest way to fix the issue is to uninstall Reckon and reinstall it, but it's a joke to do this every time we want to email a statement.
@Murray_Earl,
Thank you for providing the additional information. My apologies for inconvenience. May I ask:
We use Outlook, it only occurs with statements in the main, but sometimes we have a different error for remittance emails.
We had to uninstall and reinstall, and now it is working, so I will have to capture the error next time it comes up. For now, it is working.
I will revert back when the error next appears, unless you have some immediate fixes we can try now.
Thank you for the update and for confirming the current status.
Since the issue appears to occur primarily with statement emails and occasionally with remittance emails, it may be related to specific content types, formatting, or even how attachments are handled within Outlook. That said, it's good to hear that reinstalling has resolved the issue for now.
If it is currently working, there's no need to take further action at this point. However, if the error reoccurs, please take a screenshot of the exact message and let us know right away. That will help us investigate the issue further and provide a solution.
In the meantime, there are no immediate fixes to apply unless the issue resurfaces, but feel free to reach out if you notice any unusual behavior again.
Kind regards,
