Why is the cessation date and reason is not appearing in the STP2 file?
I have entered release date and cessation type in the employee file, but it is not showing in the STP2 file. Is there something else I need to do to make it appear?

Hi, i thought that i should expect to see the cessation date and reason listed in the section where it shows the rest of the employee details such as:
Name, TFN, Employment number, ADDRESS, EMAIL, PHONE, DATE OF BIRTH, START DATE, EMPLOYMENT TYPE
under the detail section for that employee in the file uploaded via govconnect

@Stephanie Gonzalez The system requires you to “Terminate Employee” via the inbuilt process in order to recognise an actual “Termination”.
If you right-click in the relevant employee in your list, you should see this option there so just follow the prompts. Remove your manually entered date & reason first, as the process captures & autocompletes this as part of the “Termination” ☺️

The cessation details will not appear on the screen you're referencing in GovConnect.
The cessation details are carried in the STP .json file that you send as part of your submission. I'll add an example below of what it looks like in the payload but its not the best example since I haven't add an entry for that parameter. Its just purely for reference purposes.
