Overtime earnings doesn't appear in the YTD Summary

Hi Rav

Why are overtime earnings not showing up in an employee's Year to Date Summary in the app or web?

    Morning Eric

    I've just been having a chat with our dev team in regard to this aspect.

    Rest assured, the overtime components added in your pay runs are being captured and recorded correctly, you can verify this in the Payroll Summary and/or Payroll Detail report.

    The team will be looking into making improvements to the Year to Date Summary screen to display these new components now that STP Phase 2 has introduced disaggregation of gross.

    Hi Eric

    Our design team are currently looking into this at the moment so hopefully we'll see some nifty enhancements in this area coming soon. No timeframes on this just yet but its certainly something we're working on.

    Hi @Rav

    So when we're checking YTD figures do we need to manually split out the overtime earnings that have been paid in the old Payroll Premier? Or is this going to be rectified automatically by your developers. I'm confused if you mean they're going to apply a fix for future runs or back date this since 1/7/2023?

    If it's not going to be backdated, what reports are peopled printing from Payroll Premier to do this? I'm hoping there is an easier way than printing off a pay report and calculating this manually?

    @JANE_9714211 & @Gayle_10863666 have you done this stage yet?

    Hi Kali I think you're overthinking this. The admin has already said above that the overtime items are being recorded correctly in the new reckon payroll even if it's not showing up right now. Your old payroll premier is irrelevant in this scenario as this only applies to pay under in STP2 which that isn't.

    I wonder why some employee's YTD are splitting it out then and others are not when you click into their profile?

    I am quite possibly overthinking it. There's a lot to do in little time and working around a bunch of software errors isn't helping.

    Hi Kali,

    Sorry for the late reply. I believe the YTD for any overtime carried over from STP1 to STP2 in the migration process. Although I did have to manually add in the gross figures.
