Not yet converted to STP Phase 2, need to submit July 2023 STP, but yet to finish 2022/23 year

I an currently on STP Phase 1. I have finished my 2023/23 bookwork and it is with my accountant for final figures so I can submit the June 2023 payrun and then finalise the 2022/23 FY. At the same time I need to submit the July 2023 payrun, which I can't do until I convert to STP Phase 2.

I have gone through the STP Phase 2 checklist and am ready to convert.

However, will doing so still allow me to do the outstanding tasks I need to do for 2022/23?

Hi @aakk

Yes you'll certainly be able to complete your EOFY finalisation for 2022/23 after switching to STP Phase 2. The only difference is, after you make the switch any submissions you send will be done so under STP Phase 2 requirements and this will be accepted.

And to confirm, I can also send my June 2023 pay run STP to the ATO after converting to STP Phase 2, when the rest of last FY was all done under STP Phase 1?
