    Hi Trish,

From my experience, I would check all the employees detail such employees email address, company details. This cause of error is an invalid character which most of the time it is a space Infront or behind the email address and ensure that all the characters are valid on each section.

    Hope this help.

    Best regards,

    Nick

    Morning Trish

In regard to the ATO returned error message, please check the following:

    * Company Information - If there is any special character in the Address, if there is any '+' in the Phone/Mobile Column. Please remove that if there is any. Also, check ABN if there is any space in the ABN.

    * Employee Information - Check the same for employee records as well. Also, check the TFN, if there are any spaces in between.

Please let me know, how you go. Feel free to let me know, if you want me to have a look for you. :) You can direct message me with your contact number, will be happy to assist you. Thank you!

    Kind Regards

    Tanvi

    Hi @Trish ,

That error message suggests that there may be invalid characters in the .json file. This often happens when there are some invalid characters in employees details. Also happens when new employees are added, and an incorrect character is included in their information, such as their email, address or phone number. To resolve the issue, carefully review the details of old and new employees to ensure there are no problematic characters causing the error.
