Prepare Leave error: A pay item of this name already exists.

Hi Rav, one of my Payroll book 'LN Payroll', has the error below which stop completing checklist to upgrade to STP phase 2.

Looks like the Leave items are duplicated, how to remove or delete one of each or all of them?

I need to have this error cleared ASAP to upgrade to STP phase 2

    If you login to Reckon Payroll today, is this still occurring for you?

    Hi Khanh,

    To go around this, you will need to go to Settings>Pay Items> Leave.

    Make changes to the Leave with duplicate names. Once finished, you may continue with the checklist.

    Hi @klaura , I have multiple books currently having warning of 'Subscription expires soon', should them be renewed automatically as previous years or I should do something about it?

    Also how do I update or change payment method in case of credit card expired?

    Another issue is when adding new employee, I cannot get pass the step 2: Leave entitlements, it complaints about linked superfund... but I haven't got to that step yet!

    Hi Khanh,

    I looked at the accounts, and it appears that this is just a general notice of the time of your next payment. Reckon will process the payment in three days for the LBB Payroll and in 4 days for the LN Payroll.

    Hi Khanh,

    With regard to adding in Employee, This might be because it's missing salary sacrifice.

    Go into Settings ➡️ Pay Items and create the salary sacrifice item

    Once you've done this, try to create a new employee again.

    Hi Khanh,

    Can you also make sure you have a Default Super added? If you already have, and the issue still persists, can you send us a screenshot of the error message so we can further?

    Hi @klaura I am not sure what is 'Default Super'? Currently I have several ones active already. Please show me how to add/create 'Default Super'. Note that this issue is same to both books LN and LBB. Since the STP2 imgration, I haven't added any Super, is it the reason?
