I have signed in as adminstrator yet the account I want to make active again is greyed out and this option is not available. Is there a reason for this ?

Thanks I found out what my problem was.

The account in question was a sub account so I needed to re-activate all accounts first not just the one I was focused on.

    Many thanks :)

You should be able to make the account active by:

use Ctrl A; which will then bring up your chart of accounts

make sure you have have ticked "include active" (see yellow)

and then uncross the required accounts (see green)

Thanks Bruce I appreciate your prompt response, but unfortunately no luck.

It will not let me uncross the required account, or manually by right clicking to select make account active as it is greyed out.

    Hi @Deb_8351604

Is the file in multi-user mode ?

You may need to switch to single user for this.
