employee declarations in Reckon Desk software


Could anyone help me about submitting employee declaration form in Reckon Desk software.
There is one new employee and I set up the employee information in the Reckon Desk software and I lodged STP after the new employee's first wage was paid.
I am not sure if the new employee's declaration form was submitted to the ATO when the new employee's first STP lodged.

I don’t use desktop but in Hosted there is a box in the employees tax details that says lodge tax declaration, just tick it and it will be lodged with the next STP submission

Hi @shi
Are you referring to a TFN declaration for an employee? If so, these are now a standardised inclusion of STP Phase 2 submissions.
Just ensure that you have entered their TFN correctly and it will be included in the STP submission (provided you are on Reckon Accounts 2023).

Thank you for the helpful information. I entered the tax declaration date in the software. Hope it will submit the TFN during the next STP.

Thank you for the information. Yes, it is for a TFN declaration for an employee. I checked the software and it is Reckon plus 2023. I am not sure if it including STP phrase 2 submissions.

Thank you for your confirmation. When I submit STP, I have to upload file to Reckon one.
I was told to do it. Not sure if it includes STP phrase 2.
