Hi Community. I have noticed that the amount of gross wages for the month of September is

$7758 less on the simplified BAS report then on my payroll summary. The PAYG amount is correct so I'm a bit confused. I haven't had this problem before. I know I can input the correct figure on the ATO portal but just wondering why this would happen.

@bella_10864825 The W1 figure should be the Adjusted Gross (eg it doesn't include any amounts that are being salary sacrificed)

NOTE: I suspect it may be that you've not got all the new STP2 categories selected under the W1 label button - Click on this & select all the relevant Tax Tracking types to include:

Sounds a bit strange that the PAYG is correct but not the gross; unless you've had wages that weren't reported that had no PAYG??

Hi Charley I only had one wage payment in September without PAYG but it was only for $575 so I don't think that could be the answer.
