Good Morning - a client has provided me with a back-up of their Reckon Hosted file - how do I access it please? I have a Reckon One log in only - any advice would be appreciated.

To open Reckon Hosted backup file, you will need to use Reckon Hosted or Reckon Account Desktop software. You won't be able to open Reckon Hosted file in Reckon One.

Thanks Nick. Am I able to download a trial copy of Hosted?
Best bet would be for to ask your client to add you as a 'user' and then you can access the live daqta file
To add me as a user requires a new licence is that correct?
As an Accountant/Tax Agent you get a free User Id (pretty sure). But you can also go in on your clients login if they'll let you
Do you have a link to the free USER ID?
You will need to ring Reckon or your client can add another user and set you up
If your client gives you their own login details you don’t need a user ID, but you can’t both be logged in at the same time, assuming they only have a 1 user license
