Annual Leave and Personal Leave


Hi All,
Still having issues with Annual leave and Personal leave accruals for plumbers ONLY,
We have plumbers who accure 0.8 hours per day but if they take AL or PL it doesn't accrue.
Reckon have tried to sort this but to no success.
When the payrun is completed before I send the employees the payslips, I go in and amend their AL and PL.
Thankfully I do a spreadsheet and manually work out the accrued RDO's.
Just a post to let others know if they also have this issue :(

Hello @EMcM ,
Just confirming - you are wanting Leave to accrue when they have taken Annual Leave/Personal Leave?
Or is the leave types not accruing at all?
If it's the latter, it could possibly be that the pay items you are using are marked not to count towards Time Worked, or the employee's leave setup may be calculating Per Pay/Annual Limit, or have a maximum accrual value that's blocking accruals.

Hi Alexander,
When they take Annual or Personal Leave, their RDO hours are not accruing.
Having this issue since day one of the migration.
I have tried different ways of fixing this but I am just happy to amend at the end of each payrun as it is the only way I can sort this one.

Dear @EMcM ,
In this instance, you will need to go into the Annual Leave and Personal Leave pay items in your settings, and mark them to be "Included in Time Worked Leave Accruals".
Your RDO leave item should also be marked to accrue per hours worked in Employee Settings to make this work.

I have checked this to make sure it has been set up this way.
All correct.
So not sure why it is not working or accruing if AL or PL is taken :(

Dear @EMcM ,
Have you setup the RDO to accrue per hours worked in the employee's Leave Setup?
If so, the AL and PL should cause it to accrue as well.

Yes , RDO to accrue per hours worked in the employee's Leave Setup has been set up.
But when they take AL or PL the hours don't accrue.
Not a big deal, I do it manual each week if this occurs.
