MFA across 10 licences and various input options

Hi
I use hosted with 10 licenses across multiple pc's, phones or laptops with up to 12-15 people using various computers to run our business which is based across 3 States and also when we travel overseas, so how do we handle the various people and MFA application across those licences as different people on different days operate the accounting system, plus of course our accountants

Hi there Bill
Once MFA becomes mandatory next week it needs to be enabled at the Reckon Accounts Hosted login level and will appear once in a 24 hour period per device. Each RAH login will have one specific MFA tied to it so each individual needs to have their own login/licence in order to have their own MFA.
I'm going to organise a call from a member of our team to discuss your requirements and options when it comes to managing your multiple users. We'll be in touch shortly.

absolute waste of my time, your alleged team member couldn't handball it fast enough to the Tech Line, and that's another issue I won't go into here, I'll never get that 20 mins of my back. Then I get emails telling me I need to buy more licenses blah, blah, blah. You all missed the point, with the number of licences I have and the simple fact that now after covid we have people working from home and then hot desking at the physical workplace we need a better, smarter solution, you know, like MYOB have. Thoroughly disappointing.

Yo Rav
why is my MFA not accepting the authenticator numbers when I input them, 3rd time this has happened and when a weekday your lot come in remotely and fix whatever the issue is (they won't tell me) whereas here on a weekend none of your helpful staff will answer a phone, how do I operate ??
this MFA is a joke, I now have to wait till Monday after 9 am to call the tech line to get someone to remotely fix whatever it is screwing me over to get my system back, do you lot appreciate what that means to me in income and time lost ? I have been forced back to the dark ages, pen and paper, maybe I convert back, probably less down time. And while you're at it, get rid of that dumb **** "time out due to inactivity", its driving us all nuts

Hi @NTT001
Sorry to hear you ran into some issues with your MFA over the weekend. Has this been sorted for you already?
If not, can you give me some more specific info on the issue itself.
What is happening specifically when you enter the MFA code that is generated from your authenticator app for the respective Hosted account that its been setup with?
Do you have multiple MFA entries in your authenticator app that relate to Reckon Accounts Hosted or just the one? Which authenticator app are you using?
If you're 100% sure you're using the correct MFA entry in your app and are entering the code within the allocated time period before it expires, then I'd recommend going into your authenticator app's settings and look for an option called Time Correction for Codes ➡️ Sync NowThe above is just a troubleshooting step for common authenticator app issues but without knowing what's actually happening at the moment its hard to say it'll make any difference (still worth doing though). Do you have a case number for any of your previous calls into our support team that you can give me to take a look at?
Just separately, if you ever find yourself needing to revoke the existing MFA from your Hosted account, you don't need to wait to speak with our technical team in order to do so. You can revoke it directly in a few ways and I'll link some info to this here - Revoking your current MFA from your Reckon Accounts Hosted account 🔓
