Reckon Personal Plus 2022 and Windows 11

I have been running RPP2022 on an old MacBook Air under Parallels using Windows 10.
I have a new Macbook Air with M3 chip. Today I loaded Parallels so I could run the Reckon Package. Parallels told me the M3 chip was not compatible with Windows 10 and must upgrade to Windows 11 which I did. I also got the new access keys to allow RPP 2022 on the new computer and it was installed
Unfortunately when trying to load RPP 2022 under Windows 11 the program keeps hanging. I can't get it to open files and often just stops when I am halfway through a file search. I asked your Help Desk if there was an issue with RPP2022 and W11 and/ore a patch. I was told there wasn't a patch and to write to you on this forum. Please consider and advise

Hi @neww11db
Reckon Personal 2022 has been tested and is compatible with Windows 11 as outlined in the system requirements here.
To clarify, has the software installed correct and you're now trying to open your file within it, is that correct? I'd suggest performing a clean uninstall/reinstall of the software as your first step and I'll link a guide on this below -

Hi Rav, Problem appears fixed. For the record here's the long hand explanation of what happened.
This morning with Reckon and Paralllels closed the Macbook started freezing. Did it 4 or 5 times in 90 mins and twice while I had Apple Support on the phone and watching my Mac remotely. They couldn't see any obvious problem/solution. They suggested as Parallels and then Reckon were the last 2 programs loaded yesterday I should delete Reckon, test the other Apple apps and if the machine still freezes proceed to remove Parallels and test again. Obviously trying to highlight if one of these were conflicting/corrupted etc.
To start the process I had to open Parrallels first. During the opening there was a software upgrade. Once done I opened Reckon and everything started working as it should in normal/expected operation. Situation continues and I have been running a lot apps at the one time trying to induce a freeze but so far all is good.
Must have been Parallels.
Thanks for the reply and the guide which I will keep should problems resurface. Hopefully I won't have to trouble you againπ€
