I have just purchased Desktop 2024 but the download link only gave me the 2022 version. How do I upgrade it to the 2024 version that I purchased?

    Hi @Dave_10864757 ,

Did you download the software from your Reckon Members Area HERE?

If not, login to the Members Area using your Customer ID & PIN and you should see all of the software versions available to you for download. You'll also be provided with your installation key code and other details for activating your software.

If you're not sure of your Customer ID or PIN, give our Customer Service team a call and they'll be able to provide that to you

Thanks for the reply. I couldn't download from the member's area as ther was no menu or link showing up.

I purchased it from Reckon direct, but despite it saying it was 2024 version on the link, all I got was the 2022 version.

I am logged in to the members area but there is no link to a 2024 version upgrade that I can see, the only upgrade is to the 2022 version.

    Hi @Dave_10864757 ,

I apologize for any confusion. Could you please confirm which version of Reckon Accounts you have purchased?

If it is Reckon Personal Plus or Home & Business, the 2022 version is indeed the latest available. The 2024 reference pertains to the license agreement you acquired.

Thanks Jason, I thought that I was buying Reckon Accounts Personal 2024, but have received the 2022 version (my previous version was 2018).

If what you are saying is correct, then the advertising is misleading.

Iwould like to think that an upgrade would be available.

    Many thanks,

    Dave

    Hi @Dave_10864757

Can you let us know where specifically you saw reference to a 2024 version of the Reckon Personal Range software? If you can shoot through a link or a screenshot that would be great so we can take a look.

    Cheers

Hi Rav, thanks for the reply, above is the advert that attracted me.

By the way, whatever happened to the ability to change the date by 1 day using the + or - key when entering a transaction?

    Cheers,

    Dave

Thanks Dave, I think there's been a little confusion here which I'll try to clear up.

The above screenshot shows you're on the Reckon Accounts Desktop page which is a completely different software to the Reckon Personal Range of software (Personal Plus & Home and Business).

You'll find posts, conversations and content related to the Reckon Personal Range on this page here - https://community.reckon.com/categories/personalrange

As @Jason_Z has mentioned, at this stage the 2022 edition is the current version for Personal Plus and/or Home & Business.

In regard to using the + or - keys to cycle through dates, that still seems to work fine, see my screen recording below (click on it for a larger view). You'll need ensure the date you wish to cycle through is selected.

I've tried it again Rav, but the Plus key does nothing while the Minus key just cycles through day- month- date

are you using the + and - buttons on the numeric keypad, it actually works on both keypads for me but the numeric one is easier.

Thanks for the thought Kris, but my surface Pro doesn't have a separate numerical keypad.

I can't seem to find anything in either Reckon or Windows 11 setting that might be stopping it either.

I'll just keep looking for a way.

    Cheers,

    Dave

Hi all, thanks for your help but I've finally found the solution. In advanced keyboard settings in Windows 11 select checkbox for different intput for each App.

    Cheers all,

    Dave

I’m more inclined to be looking at the Windows side of things, I have never had to do anything in Reckon and Quickbooks prior to that to make it work
