Import bank statement doesn't process to Online Banking Centre - Desktop Hosted 2024

When I import a bank statement the QIF file converts OK and I select the destination account but after a bit of processing time - spinning wheel - it completes. Nothing is imported into the Online Banking Centre and there are no errors.
I know the QIF is being converted because if I import twice I get a QBO overwrite error.
It happens from the Banking menu and from the Utilities|Import menu exactly the same.
The QIF looks good.

Have you tried importing the qbo file?
Have you tried testing it on a newly created bank a count?
You can merge it with the existing account

Dear @Rod Nugent ,
Typically, this is because the QIF successfully converts, but the QIF either has additional information that fails to process, or has extraneous data irrelevant to Reckon.
The conversion succeeds, but it's likely the QIF is rejected after conversion.
You can still import this data by instead importing the QBO file:
- Go to File.
- Go to Utilities.
- Go to Import.
- Select Web Connect Files.
After this, select the QBO that was converted from your QIF file. You will be able to proceed with the Bank Statement import.
You should not encounter this issue again - we normally see this kind of error as only occurring once and once only.

Thanks, I'll give that a go. I've seen this previously too, as I recall I re-exported (NAB) and it then worked but it didn't fix it this time. NAB changed their UI a bit and it's since then I've gotten these issues.
I checked out the QIF and QBO and they both look good. There are no import errors logged.
I'll try the QBO import instead.
Let you know

Dear @Rod Nugent ,
In the event that it fails, you may want to reach out to the NAB and ensure that the QIF export is valid for Quickbooks 2004 (or earlier) format style.
You should be okay importing the QBO files, however. If you run into any issues, please let me know.

I think we coveted this already
The qbo is a much more reliable format if your banking software has that facility
My offer still stands
I do this stuff every day
