We're really excited to announce the release of our brand new Reckon One book creation process! ✨

The new book creation process has been designed to streamline the setup process and is tailored to your entity so the information you provide is relevant and specific to your business.

We've added a lot more detail on what information you're adding when setting up your book along with how that info will be used in Reckon One. The best part is all information collected during setup is automatically transferred to your book settings, so you won’t need to re-enter it later!

Tailored Setup

The new book creation process is tailored to you! For example, if you're setting up a Reckon One book for personal use, you won't be asked to enter business-related info such as an ABN.

The information you're asked in the setup is also be relevant to your specific Reckon One plan. For example, if you've got payroll with your plan, adding in your ABN details will set you up for Single Touch Payroll submissions upfront!

This allows you to get all your setup done so you can jump straight in and start using your book!

Legal and Company Name Definition

Easily specify your business's legal name and trading name.

Address Flexibility

Indicate if your physical address is different from your legal address, with support for both Australian and international addresses.

ABN Search & Real-Time Info

Search and select your ABN directly! You’ll see real-time information about your ABN’s status, location, and name before proceeding with your book setup.

Reply-to Email Addresses

Enter your email address so replies to invoices, payslips and reports are sent to you. This includes notifications of emails which have bounced back and failed to reach the addressee.

Working Holiday Makers

When asked if you employ working holiday makers, your Yes or No response will directly update your book’s payroll company details.

The new book creation process is live and available for our Reckon One Australia customers now!

Reckon One New Zealand will follow very soon and we'll have an announcement as soon as its available.

    ℹ️ UPDATE

    Hi everyone,

    We've found a few niggly little gremlins in this update so have disabled it for now so we can get those sorted.

    Further update to follow once we've rolled this out.
