Great news @Rav
Many thanks for the very informative post to introduce V31!ποΈ
In regard to installing RPP V31, is it required that RPP 2022 be firstly uninstalled? Are there any other things I need to do or be aware of in taking on the upgrade to V31?
Cheers
JC

Yes, you will need to uninstall the 2022 version prior to installing the latest version. I'd strongly recommend that you review the full installation process outlined in our Reckon Personal - Installation & Upgrade Guide here -

I only found this thread, after I posted my comment.
Anyway why would they delete Hubb Investor? I update my share prices every day.
So what does this mean for my share prices?
0 -
The removal of HUBB Investor functionality has no effect on the online share price download feature. You can continue to download share price data with the new v31 edition as normal.

Thanks for you reply Rav, as long as my share prices can still update each night I will be happy.
What did HUBB Investor actually do?

hi Rav

When I went to install it, it told me to uninstall previous version so I did.

Iβve upgraded to the new version but I still get the same script errors as in the previous one (see attached file).
Whereβs the βExternal Links: All external links now open in your default browser, no longer relying on Internet Explorer.β ?

When I go to the Reckon.com Australian site, there is not a mention of Reckon Personal Plus v31. Can someone tell me why this is? There only seems to be information for small businesses and accountants.

There is a link at the bottom of the page called Desktop Personal Finances and from there you you can get to this page:
. But you are correct, it is very hidden and almost impossible to find.0 -
I agree with you that info re Reckon Accounts Personal Plus (RAPP) is difficult to find.
I also think that, per the image below from the FAQ's section, it needs updating. For example, the system requirements make no reference to Windows 11. And, in my humble and non-expert opinion, much of the 'debacle' seen in some other community posts (eg. from those using 'virtual machine' software on Mac computers) might be nipped in the bud if the system requirements were spelled out more clearly. That is, something to the effect that Reckon provides no guarantee or support in relation to successfully installing and/or running RAPP in a virtual Windows environment.
I do concede though @Rav , that in the Installation & Upgrade Guide ( ), to which you make reference in your post earlier (Nov 20th) in this discussion, Windows 11 is specifically mentioned, but no reference to virtual environments.
Cheers all & Happy New Year 2025!

I entirely agree John. Of note, the recommended Pentium III 450 was state of the art⦠in 1999!

There doesn't appear to be a Reckon Personal Plus v31 installation and upgrade guide. The installation and upgrade guide referred to above is for Reckon Personal Personal Plus 2022. The email advice I received in November about a new version also has a link to the same Reckon Personal Personal Plus 2022 installation and upgrade guide.
Where, please, can I find specific instructions for upgrading from Reckon Personal Plus 2022 to Reckon Personal Plus v31?

You'll find the latest installation and upgrade for the Reckon Personal Range software here -
1 -
Yes, that is what I have seen.
The installation Instructions are headed
Installation Guide - Reckon Accounts 2022 R2
Nowhere does it mention Reckon Personal Plus v31.

Sorry can you point me to where you're seeing that in the article itself that I've linked above? I can't seem to track down any reference to that in the article.
Reckon Accounts 2022 R2 is a completely separate software that is unrelated to the Personal Range so while it may appear under 'Related Articles' in the Knowledgebase due to its similar naming convention, the upgrade guide I've linked above is for the current edition of the Personal Range ie. v31

No, it was at the bottom, so I got that wrong.
The point really is that Reckon Personal Plus v31 is not mentioned anywhere. It would be helpful if the article were to state that these are the instructions for upgrading to Reckon Personal Plus v31.
I am a bit wary with upgrades. I have been upgrading this software since I first started with Quicken in 1994. I had trouble upgrading to Personal Plus 2022 when uninstalling the previous version didn't go well, and I needed help.

I have upgraded to account personal plus v31 r1, most things appear to work, when I click on financial overview the curse goes blue and in a circle, must turn off computer and start again, I can't get any reports, when in support get syntax error and can't turn off, property and debit not responding on top of screen. help screen goes pale and blue circle is the curser. I can still enter bills etc and reconcile accounts.

I have paid my annual subscription to home and personal v31. Usually I get a message asking me to confirm my user name and customer PIN, it gets accpted and away we go.
This time I am advised that the site is insecure and asks whether I want to continue downloading secure or corrupted script or both and I get the following : " An Error has occurred in the script on this page- Lin 0 Char 0 Error:https://googletagmanager.com/gtm js ? id = GTM - T2Q7GCM. Do you want to continue running scripts on the page. My confirmation is denied.
Reckon email and cal centre sources simply direct me to this site: now what?

Rav are you there? Do you monitor Comments? Is it possible for you to respond to my Comment so that payment of my annual subscription which Reckon has accepted, can be authenticated so I can get on with my work. Thanks.

I have just installed Reckon Accounts Personal Plus v31. Most things work ok but on one of my files the Investment Account Balance for one of my investment does not agree with the investment balance showing on the Portfolio Value Report or the Account Balances Report. It is only happening on this one investment. Has anyone else had this issue? Any solutions?
