    Dear @Blandine Lorraine Lam ,

After your subscription expires, if it is not renewed, Reckon Accounts Desktop (Accounting, Plus, Premier and Enterprise) will enter into a "Read-Only" mode. In this state, no data can be changed, but reports can be generated and exported. The files will still be accessible in later editions.

Reckon One/Reckon Payroll will also enter into an "Inactive" state, but you can still open the record to review data and create reports. This is only for books that have completed the STP Phase 2 migration. Older books will need to be reactivated and updated first.

Payroll Premier is not accessible without an activation/license. Neither is Reckon Personal Plus and Reckon Home & Business.

    Kind regards,

    Thanks for info.
With respect to Reckon Home and Business and Payroll Premier, is it possible to reactivate in later years, if necessary? For example request from ATO.

And what is the current cost of keeping licence for Reckon home and Business and for Payroll Premier?

    Hi @Blandine Lorraine Lam

Payroll Premier is now decommissioned and no longer available so it cannot be reactivated. Any former active Payroll Premier users have been upgraded to the Reckon One payroll experience.

Any prior STP data sent from Payroll Premier is available for viewing in GovConnect.

In regard to subscriptions for the Reckon Personal Range, you'll find the annual subscriptions for both Personal Plus & Home and Business here - https://www.reckon.com/au/personal/

I am still able to access old data from Payroll Premier. Will that continue to en the case after I finish subscription for the Reckon desktop products?

    Dear @Blandine Lorraine Lam ,

Once your Payroll Premier subscription and license comes to an end, it will no longer be accessible, as Rav said.

Old data should be transferred to the new Reckon Payroll system to ensure continued access to data.

Just to clarify, have you already been through the migration process to upgrade you from Payroll Premier to Reckon One with our team as yet?

If not, they'll work with in bringing over your Year to Date data into Reckon Payroll along with ensuring you are compliant with STP Phase 2 which is now in effect. Any balances or data outside the current financial year will not be migrated so its recommended to print or email any reports that you wish to retain.

If you haven't been through a migration to Reckon Payroll for your Payroll Premier files, please contact our team on 1800 732 566 and they'll be able to organise a migration appointment for you.

yes, Rav, payroll been updated and migrated. I’m just concerned if at a later stage ATO requests any info regarding payroll managed via Payroll Premier. It appears that historical data cannot be transferred across to Reckon One. It is also not accessible via old Payroll Premier eventhough I can still retrieve data via my desktop Payroll Premier.
