RAH MFA authentication not transferred to new iPhone

I see previous discussion on this problem hs closed. However, I still have an issue. I backed up my (Microsoft) Authenticator app on old phone and then restored it on new phone. All Microsoft accounts were restored, but none of the 3rd party apps, eg. RAH. Now I have to check the old phone every time I log in to RAH. Please advise what to do.

Hi adaircl1,
You need to revoke your current MFA and set up new one under the new device.
We have steps outlined here on how to revoke it.
Revoking your current MFA from your Reckon Accounts Hosted account π β Reckon Community
I hope it helps.
Best regards,
Karren

You cant "restore" the authenticator from a back up.
The authentication uses the IMEI which is unique to the phone.
You need to install it anew
Youre welcome

I am having the same issues, I have a new phone and need use the authentication app, but need to revoke the old MFA, this is not able to be done as the 3 options provided, 2 of them you need to login, which isnβt able to be done without the code or the old phone. The 3rd option would be great if I could find the recovery pin, but I have no idea where I put it.
Can I contact reckon directly and will be they be able to help me login

If you no longer have access to the previous authenticator app and/or also haven't retained your recovery PIN then yes, please get in touch with our technical support team in the morning and they'll arrange removal of the existing MFA after a quick security check. Once that is complete you'll be prompted to setup MFA again the next time you login.

thank you Rav, I just assumed it would be on my new phone as we transferred all data, apps and passwords, but the app is there with no accounts. I will contact them tomorrow, thank you for your help.
Kind regards Liam
