Submit to ATO in Pay Run causing Error
I own 2 businesses have been using Reckon Payroll for 3 years. I did the pay run for each today. When I submitted the first one to the ATO I got an error. I logged out and back in. When I tried to submit it again, it told me the I needed to register the software with the ATO. (Which of course I had already done years ago.) When I rang technical support I spent 45 min on the phone with them and their final answer was that it wasn't Reckon, it had to be the ATO and that I needed to register the software with the ATO. Instead, I logged out, went had lunch and then logged back in and submitted to the ATO with no problem.
The second business pay run had the same problem. This time I clicked on Reckon Gov Connect and launched Single Touch Payroll. Then I got the option to connect Reckon One (which should have already been connected). So I ticked it. It connected it and then I was able to go back to the pay run and submit it sucessfully.
This isn't the first time I've had trouble with pay runs since payroll was moved into Reckon One.

Dear @jb100 ,
What error message were you receiving?
Also, when you connected GovConnect, did it mention that your ABN was already connected at all?
Kind regards,
