Combining two STP entries for one person

During the setup of Reckon STP, 2 entries were made for one employee. While the original entry was archived and all entries relating to this person were deleted and done again, it appears that STP didn't show this. The ATO shows the 2 entries.

Is there a way to combine the 2 entries for the one person?

I rang Reckon, but could barely hear the person let alone understand him. He did say that there was no way of combining the 2 entries for the one employee, but then, I don't have a lot of faith in what he was saying by his attitude.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Hi PetraM,

Yes, we cannot combine 2 entries for one employee. However, we have the option to zero out submission for one employee.

Have you made a new profile for this employee during the switch to STP Ph 2? Is it for the previous financial year? When you said all entries relating to this person were deleted and done again, do you mean deleting the payruns associated with this previous employee profile?
