Report won't email spreadsheet, opens a different report


Accounts Hosted. Run report, select Email then Send Report as a Spreadsheet.
I do this fairly regularly. On random occasions, instead of opening the email address prompt, it opens another (random) report
I end up having to close the system and logon again.
Anyone else with this problem?

I know you mentioned above, that its random but does this happen quite consistently? ie. is there any pattern to it that you've picked up?
Does it occur when you generate and attempt to send a specific report or is it any?
Have you verified and rebuilt your file recently? If not, can you please try and do this 3x and let us know if it continues after this?

It is so random I can't identify a pattern.
I believe the verify runs as part of a backup, is that right? if so, I run that weekly.
I don't know when I last rebuilt the file. Does that happen as part of upgrading? That's the only time I would have last done the rebuild.
The problem has been happening for years. I remember seeing someone else with the same problem and I'm sure I noted "me too" but can't find that now.

I think you should run verify and rebuilt as a separate procedure verify 3 times

Ok in that case I'd suggest running a rebuild 3x and hopefully that'll straighten this out. I'll some instructions on how to perform a rebuild below - How to perform a data file rebuild (Rebuild Data) in Reckon Accounts Hosted

Followed the instructions, 3 rebuilds and 3 verifies done on 14th Feb.
Today (21st Feb) it has done the same thing, trying to use Email, Send Report as Spreadsheet, and it just opens another completely random report.
Send report as PDF works (altho I don't want a pdf).Export works.
Closed & reopened hosted and was able to Email the spreadsheet.
