#TipTuesday - Do you see Review Details on super when creating a pay run? Here's why!

Heyo everyone!
Its Tuesday so you know what that means… its #TipTuesday!
Are you creating pay runs in Reckon One but wondering why you're seeing the ⚠️ Review Details warning on superannuation and/or salary sacrifice balances?
There's a really simple reason for it, and its related to using the system generated Default Super Fund.
For context, Reckon One previously included a system generated default super fund as a temporary option for super calculations in pay runs in the event you hadn't setup the employee's own super fund.
You can setup custom super funds in Reckon One so you can create an employee's own super fund and assign it to them. If you're still using the system generated default super fund on any employees, you'll notice a ⚠️ Review Details warning when creating a pay run or viewing employee profiles.
Its highly recommended that you create the employee's actual super fund and update their profile. The good news is, its really easy to setup a super fund in Reckon One and we've got a how-to video below that provides a step by step walkthrough here - Creating a super fund in Reckon Payroll.
Please note: new Reckon One books created after November 2024 do not contain the default system-generated super fund.
Hopefully that helps, see you next Tuesday for a new tip!
