Temporary Files drive in new platform

Hi Rav

I've been using the new platform for Reckon Accounts Hosted. What is the temporary files drive used for?

I've read through the documentation and noted that it states anything stored here will be deleted, so it suggests there is no purpose to that drive or am I remiss in my understanding?

Is there any way to remove it from the My Files window?

    Hey Eric

    Its a great question and you're correct, any files stored in the Temporary Files drive will be removed at the end of your session. Due to that, its important to ensure you're uploading or saving any files to your Q drive as you're usually accustomed to.

    We're working with our technology partner to explore options to refine this aspect of the file management experience, including potential changes to the way the Temporary Files drive is displayed. At this stage, however, it isn't possible to remove or hide the Temporary Files drive from the My Files window but we'll keep you posted on updates in this area.

    Thanks for the confirmation Rav, looking forward to it.

    Even if it's making it the 3rd option on the drive list rather than the first one would be a good change.
