ABA File Direct Credit Error


Hi
I processed my pays and created aba file to upload to nab connect. There was an error and the total didn't match. Seems like it was missing one pay. I tried to click on the ABA file history and delete the file to redo. I did this and re uploaded. There was still an error. I tried again and now there is nothing showing in the ABA file history. I don't want to have to delete all the pays and redo. Hoping someone can tell me where to find the ABA file so I can recreate it.

In addition to above I think I have worked out part of the problem. I also got logged out and had to re log back into reckon. I think therefore from what I have read I have to redo all the pays:( as it doesn't log back into same server. Hopefully someone has a work around this.

I believe so, unfortunately. Do you preview the aba file before you create it. I check the totals against the payroll report as I know recreating is an issue

Thanks I ended up speaking to nab connect and they were able to help me manually update the file. All worked out fine in the end.

Tip for anyone if you use Nab Connect and the file fails. You can copy it to notepad, amend it and then re upload. You have to use spaces instead of tabs as it also causes it to fail. I learnt something new too. Saves deleting all the pays and redoing
