Firstly, I am not a Reckon Accounts Business (Desktop) member and have never been in this category. I am just a person trying to keep our family expenses etc. in order.
I recently upgraded to the 2026 Programme. Since doing so, I spent half an hour or so on the phone trying to resolve my problem without success. I have written e-mails without success. I hope your area can achieve success.
The programme is installed but I have had no luck in accessing my last back-up to continue using. I am receiving messages that either the file or disc id not ready. I tried again about an hour ago but now I receive a message 'Reckon Accounts is unable to find a valid licence for this computer' giving a number of reasons this might be happening and finishes with 'You will need to contact Reckon to update your licence details. Do you want to do that now?' To which I respond with Yes. I go through the requirements on the "Reckon Accounts Activation Update." I feel as though I am going around incircles and achieving nothing. Please help before I go bonkers. All I want to do is be able to use my programme.
